Hashimpura massacre: Delhi HC overturns trial court order, sentences 16 PAC personnel to life imprisonment

The Delhi High Court on Wednesday convicted 16 former Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) personnel, sentencing them to life imprisonment for murder and of kidnapping, criminal conspiracy and destruction of evidence under the Indian Penal Code in in the 1987 Hashimpura massacre case in Uttar Pradesh.
